This was the Raj Tent Club’s very first tent. Based on a traditional Rajasthani hunting tent, we restyled and updated the Shikar in the 1990’s and eighty were initially made as a tented encampment for the Maharajah of Jodhpur in Pushkar.
Lined in sumptuous hand block printed cotton and with mesh windows, this tent provides a truly luxurious camping experience with ample space to sleep two in comfort. It has a rear bathroom and front verandah.
The large double fly Shikar is ideal for festivals, tented encampments and hotels under canvas, or it makes a wonderfully romantic honeymoon tent.

This tent comes complete with an outer cotton canvas roof and side scalloping, inner cotton ceiling canopy and side walls (choose your combination from the fabric options below), mesh windows, roll down blinds, wooden finials, aluminium poles, fabric pole covers, stabilising ropes, pegs and a hessian bag.
