Collection: Garden Urns

Whether it be one of our beautiful Rajasthani marble urns, bronze urlis, or gorgeous green glaze Zagora pots, our urns add a wow factor to any garden.

These unique "rough and rustic" green urns are made near Zagora, which is situated in the Draa Valley in south east Morocco. Ceramics from this region are also known as Tamegroute pottery.

The striking green colour is formed during the firing process and is a result of the traditional glaze used which contains magnesium, silicon and copper.

All Tamegroute pottery is hand made, so small variations in size and colour will occur. In addition, because the pottery is made using ancient methods, it is a little fragile and the finish somewhat "rough and ready". A degree of unevenness and some imperfections in the glaze only add to the rustic charm and gorgeousness of this beautiful pottery.

Because of the relatively low temperature used in firing, the urns can be damaged in a very hard frost, so we would recommend covering the urn for protection in unusually cold weather or moving the urn indoors.
